Yong Dermot Tufoin, known as Bobe Y Derm, is a Cameroonian Afro/Njang artist from Belo, born in 1997. Holding a BSc in Geography from the University of Buea, he’s passionate about preserving cultural heritage through music.

Starting his career in 2021, he released hits like “Help Njang” and “Yeina” and later transitioned to Bobe Heritage Empire as a solo artist.

His recent collaboration with BotangRecords reflects his mission to blend tradition with modernity through songs like “Appreciate” and “Minjema,” inspired by his culturally rich upbringing in Fuli.
